  • Updated

Overview

Splash Access Secure QR Guest Wi-Fi allows administrators to generate QR codes that provide seamless, secure guest access without requiring a splash page or manual authentication. Before QR codes can be generated, SplashAccess must import and store key network information, including locations, SSID tags, and Group Policies. This article explains how to navigate to the Secure QR Guest Wi-Fi module and configure the required settings.

Steps to Generate a QR Code

  1. Navigate to Splash Access > Secure QR Guest Wi-Fi.
  2. Select IMPORT/UPDATE Networks.
    • SplashAccess will retrieve all network information from Meraki, including locations, SSID tags, and Group Policies.
    • Wait for the import process to complete.
  3. In the list of available networks, tick the Display Box for each network where you want to enable QR code access.
  4. Select the SSID by clicking the FETCH button.
    • This loads all SSIDs associated with the selected network.
  5. Select the Group Policy by clicking the FETCH button.
    • Choose the policy that will be applied to users connecting via the QR code.

Once these steps are completed, the system is ready to generate QR codes for guest access.
