Create a Group in Meraki Rebooted App

Overview

The Meraki Rebooted app allows you to organise devices into groups, add devices from multiple organisations, and configure scheduled or manual reboots. This guide walks you through creating a group, adding devices, setting a reboot schedule, and performing instant reboots.

Create a New Group

1. Open the Create Tab

After logging into the Meraki Rebooted app, select the Create tab.

2. Name Your Group

Enter a name for your new group. Example: Home

Select Create to generate the group.

 

Add Devices to the Group

1. Select an Organisation

Click the + icon to choose your organisation. The app supports multiple organisations and networks within the same interface.

2. Choose a Network

Select the network you want to pull devices from. Example: Home Network

3. Fetch Devices

Select Fetch Devices to load all devices associated with that network.

4. Add Devices to the Group

Click on the devices you want to include. For example:

  • MX device
  • MR30
  • MV52

Once selected, the devices will be added to the group.

5. Close the Device Selector

Select Close to return to the group view. You will now see all added devices listed under the group.

 

Configure a Reboot Schedule

1. Open the Time Schedule Tab

Select Time Schedule from the group menu.

2. Set Time Zone

Scroll to the Time Zone field and choose the correct zone for your location.

3. Choose Reboot Frequency

Select one of the following:

  • Daily
  • Weekly
  • Monthly
4. Set Reboot Time

Choose the time you want the reboot to occur.

5. Save the Schedule

Select Save to apply the scheduled reboot settings.

 

Perform an Instant Reboot

1. Return to the Devices Tab

Go back to the Devices tab within the group.

2. Reboot All Devices

Select Reboot All to immediately reboot every device in the group.

This action triggers an instant reboot for all devices assigned to the group.
