Rebooting Devices in Meraki Rebooted App

Overview

The Meraki Rebooted app allows you to reboot individual Meraki devices or reboot all devices within a selected group. This can be useful for troubleshooting, applying updates, or restoring connectivity. All reboot actions are logged to provide full transparency and audit history.

Meraki Reboot - By Splash Access 

 

1. Log in to the Meraki Rebooted App

Access the app using your administrator credentials.

2. Select a Device Group

  1. From the main dashboard, click the group that contains the device(s) you want to reboot.
  2. Inside the group, you will see two reboot options:
    • Reboot All – reboots every device in the group
    • Reboot Individual Device – reboot a single AP

3. Reboot All Devices in a Group

  1. Inside the selected group, click Reboot All.
  2. The app will send a real‑time reboot request to all devices in that group.
  3. A confirmation response will be returned from Meraki once the reboot is successful.

4. Reboot a Single Device

  1. Locate the device you want to reboot.
  2. On the right‑hand side, click the three‑dot menu.
  3. A submenu will appear at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Select Reboot Device.
  5. The app will attempt a real‑time reboot and return a success message once Meraki confirms the action.

Reboot Logs

All reboot actions, whether group‑wide or individual are automatically logged. This provides:

  • Full transparency
  • A complete audit trail
  • A record of all reboot attempts and their outcomes

You can review these logs at any time to track device activity and troubleshooting history.
